Where do we go from here? This week’s game, MDK 2, was enjoyed handily by both parties, and then unceremoniously not completed by either. Max did get enough time carved out of his busy week to play just enough Zelda so he could talk shit. I get my fill of Privates, which was both a mouthful and handful to say the least. Xbox 360 gets more indecipherable Japanese Shmups and we ramble one about the best selling 3rd Party Wii games. None are acceptable. 20% involve Mario racing Sonic at 4 year intervals. In the category of good news, Irrational is making a new Bioshock I want to have sex with and MW2 has the capacity to make all gaming free forever (warning: hyperbole). Listen, enjoy, tell a friend.
We’re legit bro. Just like pro skateboarders and up and coming musicians, the biggest turning point at the beginning of any fledgling podcast is getting signed. And we’ve done it. This week is very back-to-basics with news, an interesting top 5 list and a tale from the Mamba Moose all before the break. But that’s not all. Even the break is snazzy. Young Marcus from Sony told us to step our game up, and we did. The game of the week was a nostalgia trip for me, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie’s Double Trouble!. Try saying that 5 times fast without getting wicked bored. Next week is a bullet-hell shooter from the revered shmup creators, Cave. If anyone in Oly needs me, I’ll be downtown at Old School Pizza playing the DoDonPachi on their multicade machine.
